CRIS Rural Mass Transit Ends Services to Vermillion, Ford, and Iroquois Counties

CRIS Rural Mass Transit discontinued ride services Friday to residents of Vermillion, Ford, and Iroquois Counties. According to a press release from CRIS, the reason for the sudden halt in services is because the organization has no choice but to dissolve itself after funds they were receiving from IDOT to operate were frozen. They say for those of you who have paid in advance for rides should receive a reimbursement soon. CRIS says alternative transportation services can be found at rural transits dot org.
