Kankakee City Police investigate December battery

Kankakee City Police report a man is in the hospital after he was beaten back in late December. According to reports, City Police were called yesterday by a woman who told them her father had been attacked on December 23rd at a home on Country Club Drive. The woman said her father had been taken to a local hospital for treatment before being transferred to Northwestern Hospital where, she says,  he remains on a ventilator in ICU because of the attack. City Police are investigating.
