Jasper County IN Crash Injures Morocco Man

Jasper County Sheriff’s Police report a crash Monday morning sent a Morocco man to the hospital. According to reports, it was just before seven yesterday morning when Jasper County Deputies were called to a two-car crash on US Highway 231 just south of Rensselaer. Deputies say a car driven by 53-year-old Thomas Montemayer of Moracco was travelling southbound on 231 when he crossed the center line and hit a van driven by 34-year-old James Burrola of Rensselaer. Motemaryer was airlifted to the hospital for treatment of injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
