Iroquois County Crash Kills Piper City Man

A Piper City man was killed in a single-car crash over the weekend. Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police report 54-year-old Steven M Lee died Saturday in the crash on 18-hundred north near 300 east road in rural Gilman. Reports say Lee’s car was westbound on 18-hundred east when he veered off the roadway and into the ditch, where his car rolled several times. Lee was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
