BREAKING: Amazon Driver Involved in Crash Thursday Pronounced Dead

The driver of the Amazon truck that crashed near Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School yesterday on North Street has died. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner has identified the driver as 59-year-old Michael Wayne Wilson of Gary, Indiana. Wilson was pronounced dead at Riverside Hospital around five in the evening Thursday after he was brought there by Bradley EMS. It was around 12:30 Thursday afternoon when Wilson’s truck veered off of North Street and Cleveland Avenue and struck a sign because he suffered a medical emergency. No other cars were involved in the crash. An autopsy was performed today. The cause of Wilson’s death is pending autopsy, police, and toxicology reports.
