Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Homicide in Rural Momence

Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found Monday at a bar in rural Momence. In a press release, Deputies say they were called to the bar on Route 114 near the Indiana border just before noon Monday for a report of a possibly dead person. When they got there, deputies say they found 30-year-old Courtney M. Drysdale of Momence dead at the scene. Officials say they are treating the death as a homicide and ask anyone with any information to call their office or Crime Stoppers at 815-93-CRIME.
