Kankakee Man Arrested on Cannabis Charges

A Kankakee man was arrested Sunday for a drug related incident that happened back in December of last year. According to reports, 27 year old Lakenzie T. Mallett of Bradley was picked up by Kankakee Police Sunday and booked into the Jerome Combs Detention Center for Manufacturing and delivery of cannabis between thirty and five-hundred grams. Mallett is allegedly connected to an incident reported by Bradley Police December 1st where an Uber East Driver picked up an item in the 200 block of South Wabash Avenue to deliver to Kankakee that turned out to be a bag of around fifty-eight grams of cannabis.
