A resolution to approve the transfer of six hundred thousand dollars over from the Village of Manteno’s general fund to it’s special project fund has been approved. The goal of moving the funds is to be able to help bear the cost of Manteno’s share of the I57 overpass.
The fund is considered a non restricted fund, meaning that the village could return the funds to it’s general fund if they find the money to not be needed.
