A new study shows food quality is the key to having a healthy heart. Researchers at Harvard University followed 200-thousand people in the U.S. for 30 years and found some low carb and low fat diets are better for heart health than others. However, the study shows the quality of the food matters more than the amount of carbs and fats. The study published in Science Alert shows too many processed foods and a lack of veggies, fruits, whole grains and healthy fats may not benefit long term cardiovascular health.
