Jasper County Indiana Sheriff’s Police Report Child Solicitation Arrest

Jasper County Indiana Sheriff’s police announce the arrest of a LaPorte, Indiana man after he allegedly tried to meet a 13-year-old for sex. According to a press release, 20-year-old Wyatt Wade Messer was taken into custody around 5:30 Monday evening after deputies received a tip that alleged he had communicated with a juvenile through social media and solicited them for sexual activity and explicit photographs. Deputies took Messer into custody without incident. A search of Messer’s car turned up a loaded firearm and alcohol containers. Messer has been booked for child solicitation among other charges.
