Kankakee County Sheriff Deputies Report Battery Arrest in Chebanse

Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police report the arrest of a 41-year-old Buckingham man after he allegedly beat a man in Chebanse last night. According to reports, it was just before midnight last night when Deputies were called to a bar in the 100 block of West Chebanse Avenue in Chebanse where the victim told them he’d gotten into an argument with Keith Holmes. The victim said Holmes rushed him and knocked him to the ground, hitting him in the face and chest before leaving. Holmes was stopped a short time later and arrested by Deputies for battery.
