A multi-agency resource center will be opened at the Aroma Park United Methodist Church on West Third Street in Aroma Park. The Center will be open from 10 this morning until seven tonight and again tomorrow from eight in the morning until seven. Becky Powell, Director of the Kankakee County Emergency Management Agency says the resource center will help those affected by last week’s tornado get connected with recovery resources and support services from multiple community organizations.
Powell says a shuttle bus will be available from Asbury United Methodist Church in Kankakee for those affected by the tornado that may not otherwise be able to make it to the event. The shuttle will leave every hour on the hour to transport people to the MARC.
