The Kankakee County Board announced a special meeting to be held on Tuesday, March 24th at 9 AM. According to Kankakee County Board Chairman Matt Alexander-Hildebrand, the meeting pertains to extending the disaster proclamation for another 30 days after an EF3 tornado tore through South Kankakee and Aroma Park on March 10th.
The meeting will be held at the Kankakee County Administration Building at 189 East Court Street in Kankakee.
