Shooting in Crete Kills one, Injuries two

One person died and two others were injured when shots were fired at a party in Crete early Sunday morning. Will County Sheriff’s police say they received several 911 calls in regards to a large fight at possible shooting near 27000 South State Line Road in Crete around 1 Sunday morning. When deputies arrived, they found a large crowd, located the shooting victims and began life-saving measures. The three shooting victims were taken to area hospitals, where one later died. A preliminary investigation shows the incident appears to be domestic related as it happened at a family party. The identity of the victim has yet to be released from the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
