Kankakee County Storm Damage Assessment Complete

The Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office reports the Storm Damage Assessment from the March 10th tornado has been Completed. The statement was released in a Facebook post Monday. Officials say residents should not wait for potential federal assistance to begin their recovery and to contact their insurance companies to file claims if you haven’t already. We’re hoping to learn more from Kankakee County Board Chairman Matt Alexander-Hildebrand later today or tomorrow on what steps will come next for the county.
