A Donovan man was arrested by Bradley Police Saturday on charges of endangering the life of a child. According to reports, officers conducted a traffic top on a car in the 400 block of North Bradley Boulevard sometime Sunday. When police approached the driver’s side window, the driver, 23-year-old Caleb M. Roberts, appeared intoxicated, sluggish, and had slurred speech. Officers could see several empty alcohol bottles inside the car along with an open case of beer bottles that were cold to the touch. Roberts had his 22-year-old girlfriend and 2-year-old daughter in the car with him. Roberts failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI and endangering the life of a child.
