Gas prices down – slightly

Gas prices are down – slightly. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas is now four-dollars-41 cents across the Land of Lincoln. That’s a penny cheaper than yesterday, but still more than 80 cents more expensive than it was at this time last month. Things a little cheaper in Kankakee County as well, where Triple-A says that gallon of gas will set you back four-dollars-15 cents on average. Also down a penny overnight, but almost 70 cents more expensive than the cost just a month ago. Gas prices running 4.12 on average in Iroquois County, 4.24 in Ford County and 4.50 in Will County.

Across the State Line, that gallon of gas will set you back 3.95 on average in Newton County. It’s four-dollars-seven cents on average in Benton County and 4.03 on average in Jasper County. Triple-A says gas is running four-dollars and four cent on average across the Hoosier State.
