The Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force report a pair of arrests in connection to an alleged car jacking a little over a week ago. The alleged carjacking happened about 10:30 last Sunday night in 18-hundred block of South Schuyler Avenue, where a man said he’d been trying to sell his 2014 silver Chevy Malibu to a couple, and during a test drive, the man allegedly pulled a gun and put it to his head. The victim said the man and woman started punching him until he pulled the car into a bar parking lot where he got out and the woman got into the drivers seat and the couple took off.  T-CAT officers say they spoke to the victim and reviewed surveillance footage which led to Friday’s arrest of 27-year-old Victor Andrade-Rodriguez and 37-year-old Angelica Juarez-Luna of Pembroke Township on charges that include aggravated vehicular hijacking and unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle. When taken into custody, Andrade-Rodriguez was allegedly found to have some drugs and a gun on him. He was additionally charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of Meth.
