What to Bring to SBA Disaster Relief Loan Centers

Apr 16, 2026 | 10:53 AM
The U.S. Small Business Administration has three disaster relief centers setup throughout Kankakee County where business owners, non-profits, and residents can go to apply for low interest disaster relief loans to help pay for damage caused by the March 10th storm. DJ Jakala from the SBA tells us what kinds of documents you should bring with you.

Jakala added that if you don’t have a car, River Valley Metro and Showbus have routes that will take you to the SBA Disaster Relief centers at Village of Aroma Park, the Kankakee Train Depot, and Northfield Square Mall in Bradley. The centers are open Monday through Saturday until the final day, April 25th. You can also apply online at SBA.gov/disaster.
