Local warning sirens to be tested today

The Kankakee County Emergency Management Agency has planned a special test of the tornado warning sirens for this morning. Authorities say the test will be held at 10 and ask if you’re outside during the scheduled testing time and do not year your city’s warning sirens, you contact your local municipality to let them know. During Monday night’s Bourbonnais Village Board meeting, it was noted there had been some issues with the sirens over the last month or so and it is believed the problems have been rectified.
