During last night’s Bourbonnais Village Board meeting, trustees passed an ordinance that places a moratorium on commercial solar farms in residential areas. Village Attorney Patrick Dunn
Dunn says the moratorium gives Village officials the chance to go over Village Code and State Law to decide what limitations need to be put into the legislation to ensure affordable housing in the Village.
Also at last night’s meeting, trustees okayed a bid by Kankakee Valley Construction for Motor Fuels Tax roadwork in the Village this summer.
