KVPD Announces Board Vacancy

The Kankakee Valley Park District has announced a vacancy on their board. According to a press release, the board is seeking candidates to fill one Park Board Commissioner seat. The person must be a resident of the Kankakee Valley Park District in order to be considered. The seat has an unexpired term that will be up for election at the consolidated election in April 2027. Anyone interested in applying for the open seat can pick up an information packet at KVPD’s main office on Station Street in Kankakee. Applications must be turned in by 4:30 in the afternoon on June 4th.
