Goodell offers update on Bears

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is offering an update on the status of the Bears stadium saga.  During an owners meeting yesterday in Orlando, Goodell said the team is still committed to two “viable” sites in Arlington Heights and Hammond, Indiana.  He said he spoke to Governor Pritzker recently and there’s a focus on getting a deal done downstate.  State lawmakers have until May 31st to pass a megaprojects bill designed to keep the Bears in Illinois.
