Iroquois County Cooling Centers

With high temperatures and heat indexes nearing 100 the next couple of days, the Iroquois County Emergency Management Agency wants Iroquois County residents know there are places to go if you need to get out of the heat. In a press release, IEMA says the centers offer air-conditioned relief during periods of extreme heat. They do suggest you call ahead to make sure the centers are available before you go.
