Lottery jackpots grow

Jackpots continue to grow in the Powerball and Mega Millions lotteries, with a total of more than one and a quarter billion dollars up for grabs. Lottery officials say the jackpot for tonight’s Mega Millions drawing sits at 743-million-dollars while Saturday night’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated 600-million. Odd of winning either jackpot is about one in 290-million.
