Both the Kankakee County and Manteno Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the YMCA Tuesday morning on Kennedy Drive in Kankakee to unveil their newly renovated Welcome Center. President and CEO David Parker said they’re working hard to revitalize the Y.
Parker added The new Welcome Center is just phase one of Project Thrive at the YMCA and phase two will focus on their fitness and wellness offerings.
