State Armory to be renamed for Governor Edgar

The Illinois State Armory is being renamed in honor of former Governor Jim Edgar.  Governor Pritzker will host a ceremony today at the Executive Mansion in Springfield.  Edgar died last year at the age of 79 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.  He was a two term Republican governor, serving from 1991 to 1999.
