Kankakee City Police investigate burglary

City Police report someone broke into a gambling establishment early Thursday morning and broke into some of the machines. According to reports, it was just after five yesterday morning when officers were called to the gaming cafe on the 22-hundred block of East Court Street. When they got there, officers say they found the glass broken out of the side window of the business and four of the gaming machines had been damaged. Reports say thieves made off with the contents of three of the machines. City Police continue to investigate the incident.
