It was an evening of resolutions at last night’s Bourbonnais Village Board meeting. Among those, a resolution honoring Bourbonnais K9 officer Knight who recently passed away. Sergeant Timothy Banks was Knight’s human partner who said he was touched by the Village Board taking time to honor Knight
Knight was the Village’s first ever K9 officer when he joined the Department in 2024. Knight died July 11th following a battle with cancer.
