During Monday night’s Kankakee City Council Meeting, Aldermen approved a pre-development loan agreement between the city and Gallagher Building, LLC. Executive Director of the Economic and Community Development Agency, Barbi Brewer-Watson said there are three parcels of land in Indiana Avenue that are part of the project.
Brewer-Watson said the loan amount is for 800-thousand-dollars for 36 months, and the hope is to get the pre-development part of the project done by sometime next year.
