Governor Pritzker’s office has an update on Bears stadium talks. The Governor’s Office released a statement saying they have remained in conversation with the Bears about their plans in Illinois throughout the summer. They added that Pritzker met yesterday with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, team board member Pat Ryan, Illinois House Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch, State Representative Kam Buckner, and State Senator Bill Cunningham. The update comes after the Bears announced this summer that their focus remains on a proposed stadium project in Hammond, Indiana.
