Bourbonnais Trustees last night took the first step to abating some taxes for the next fiscal year. Village Finance Director Tara Latz says last night was the first reading of three tax abatement ordinances
Latz says the abatement will save taxpayers between 145 dollars and 510 dollars off next year’s tax bill. Second reading of the ordinances and final passage is expected at the Village’s November 16th meeting.
