House Fire in Steger

Steger firefighters were called to a house fire this afternoon in the 3300 block of Butler Ave.  Facebook postings this afternoon indicate when fire fighters arrived they were met with heavy fire in the rear of the home.  No word yet on a cause, it does appear that one person may have suffered burns in the fire. We’ll have more when it becomes available.
