Crash on County Line Road kills two

A single car crash on County Line Road in far Northern Kankakee County Monday morning killed two people. Will County Sheriff’s Police say it was just before six this morning when the westbound car from out of state crossed the road and went into the Eastbound ditch where the car flipped onto its side and ended up in the middle of the South Branch of Rock Creek. Fire Department Personnel from Manteno and Peotone had to cut the victims from the car. The 60-year-old driver said he’d fallen asleep before the crash. The front seat passenger died as the scene of the crash, the rear seat passenger was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries. The crash is still under investigation.
