Kankakee Burglary Disrupts Move

A Kankakee woman who is in the process of moving called police Tuesday morning to report the theft of items still at her old address in the 900 block of West Station Street.  The victim told officers she had spent the night in the new place, but when she returned she found several items missing including some art work and shoes.  Her landlord told her when he arrived her door was wide open.  She claims she made sure the doors were locked when she left Monday. Police say there is no sign of forced entry.
