Gas Prices Up Again

Gas prices are on the rise in Illinois as we head into the weekend. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas across the Land of Lincoln is four-dollars-33 cents, up nearly six cents overnight. Gas in the Kankakee area is running 4.33 on average, up 9 cents overnight and up 24 cents in the past week. Gas in Iroquois County’s running 4.17 on average, it’s 4.22 in Ford County and 4.27 in Grundy County.

Across the State line, gas will set you back four-dollars-and-a-nickle on average in Newton County, 4.12 in Benton County and 4.25 in Jasper County. Gas is averaging 4.17 a gallon across the Hoosier State.
