Arrest Made in Wheatfield Nursery Shooting

A Wheatfield, Indiana man has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Mid-March at a home northwest of Wheatfield.  Jasper County Sheriff’s police report that 24 year old Max M. Maglio was arrested for firing the shot that penetrated the window of a baby’s nursery at a nearby home.  The men were apparently doing some target shooting, but police say their backstop of a small dirt pile and a metal cylinder was not sufficient to block the gunfire.  Maglio is charged with shooting into a building and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
